Wisdom tooth erupting fuuuk

100/10 on a scale level of pain

BRB cant open jaw more then 4 centimeters
BRB spitting in a cup cause it’s more painful then strep throat to swallow
BRB every single time I chew I bite my cheek/gum that is swollen that pulsates to my entire side of my head and so painful eyes water/nose runs

BRB wake up with mouthful of blood last 3 days

BRB blood pressure to 150 waking up when I don’t even get it past 135 when I’m running in treadmill after a heavy workout

What the fak!

I’ve had 10 stitches sewn up my skin in my hand with no painpills and pain tolerance is insane

Gotten 8 hours of tattoo work one day and next day 8 hours no complaints

Wisdom tooth pain is by far the most painful thing of my lif

Takes me an hour to eat a piece of tuna and potato

Try having wisdom tooth on top through nicely, only to press spiked force on the bottom wisdom tooths juicy gum. 10x unimaginable pain. Lasted 1 month. Top wisdom just kept wounding bottom one, takes one light chew to agonise it/restart cycle.

100x worse when you chronically clench.

Fuark. Been there. There's a pressure point between your thumb and pointer finger and if you press on it you can sometimes drop the pain down.

Even after 1 month it took 2 weeks to go down, kept re aggravating it. Entire thing is meant to take like 4 days max. Was incapacitated and breathing heavy 24/7. Stayed awake for 3 days at times. EVERY gulp of soup (bowl has 100+), I would fling my arms/head in the air like I was psyching myself for a deadlift pr.

I used salt water, bonjela and my mother was helping with remedies.

Best thing was to pain cream (bonjela) on tip of tongue, and rest it on gum area. Still torture.

Remember we have 4 wisdom teeth.

I got all 4 of mine removed in the same procedure. Just get it over with, you won't remember anything / be passed out if it's full on sleep or otherwise twilight sedation.

I had anxiety about this for years, I knew my wisdom teeth were bad at age 17, and honestly stopped going to the dentist because I dreaded them telling me to get the wisdom teeth pulled. Fast forward age 24/25 or so and I took it on, now I've been going to the dentist routinely ever since, feels good.

Trust me when I say smart move

It feels like someone is punching you in the face every 5 seconds

Literally ibuprofen has saved my life it last 3 1/2 hours

The literal minute 3 1/2 kicks in I instantly feel the second it doesn’t work

It literally wakes you up in your sleep in tears and then have to quickly shove 3 ibuprofen down your throat and wait 30 minutes for it to work to fall back asleep

Then 3 1/2 hours later repeat

Been getting 7 hours of sleep last 3 days with a routine down now of ibuprofen

It's not "erupting" you likely have pericoronitis (or infected if there's decay). Rinse with warm saltwater 3x a day for a few days and then get those suckers out. Alternate ibuprofen and tylenol in the mean time

My girl gave me Tylenol with codine first night I complained and I woke up in cold chills/body aches and didn’t help the pain at all in my tooth

Afraid to hop back on Tylenol Now lol.

Ibuprofen is literally gold to me right now.

Maybe 2nd one since can’t open jaw but no infection thank god

Dentist said I didn’t need to take that cause no pus and it was actually clean

Also I had her scrape my tooth/gum to clean it, said it would be un imaginable pain but it’ll be worth it so I said go for it

Been using my 300$ water pik since then too to keep it clean + oral gels and I eat good

I cracked a wisdom tooth a few years ago. Was terrified of dentist so left it and it eventually needed filling so got a filling done.

Fast forward a couple of years (last year) and started getting the worse pain I'd ever felt. No painkillers would touch it and felt like ripping my jaw out. Went for an x-ray and the tooth had become infected where it was filled. Dentist gave me antibiotics which stopped the pain after three days.

Had to have a root canal a few weeks after which really wasn't that bad. I asked for extra anaesthetic so my whole face was numb and now have a white crown which looks like a normal tooth. No nerves or living tissue in the tooth so no feeling in it.

Feel for you opie, tooth pain is the absolute worst.

get yourself one of these

you can filll it with salt water and squirt the water under the gums to clean em up. ( usually there is like a gummy flap covering part of the tooth that gets food and chit under it)

Haha it's crazy stuff :0

Just keep drinking soup with that retard tongue to side method.

Honestly, here's what I did. I have this chronic neck pain going on. During the ulcer/wisdom tooth crap, I somehow upset my neck a ton pain wise. This in turn shared the focus of unrelenting pain. Soooo, perhaps self harm lol? Maybe just do 200 bicep curls/crunches to get crazy soreness, then maybe your tooth won't be as high up on the pain spectrum?

It's unconventional, but think about it. Everytime you breathe, your abs will hurt a ton, go to touch jaw? Bicep will wreck. Mentally you'd be preoccupied? Hopefully that'll mask the pain so ur mouth can heal in a few days.

Give it a try, how is it feeling now?

Today only about an 80/10 lmao so it’s getting better but some reason my inner gum now is super sharp pain

I can open my jaw another 10-15%

I did legs monday hard and then today hard, totally obliterated my legs so I can be in pain to keep my mind off it.

Actually solid advice lmao.

Lots of shakes and using my blender to shred up everything

Even thought about blending up a steak earlier lmao.what sucks is my mouth waters like a mofo when I see food I just can’t really eat it

I was at 220 last week 9-12% body fat

Thinking I’m 213-216 now if I’m lucky

Dude last summer I had this infection in my wisdom tooth (already grown perfectly straight out) that had pain radiating to my left jaw, and on top of that for some reason, I had a bunch of canker sores around my tongue, AND a sore throat. It was like this triple ****ing tag team infection in my mouth. It just came out of nowhere, it was the worst pain and overall most miserable experience I've ever had, and I broke my back and both my hips before.

Dude, I could NOT eat anything that wasn't a smoothie, I could barely talk, and when I did swallow the sore throat just fukkin killed me.

I tried to eat mashed potatoes and stuff that was super soft but any chewing motion just aggravated the canker sores, and along with that there was a constant, never-ending pain in the jaw/wisdom tooth. It took me an hour to eat a little bowl of rice lol.

The only thing that offered me relief was constantly taking advil/tylenol and going to sleep or taking a nap. I would wake up with the pain in full force and had to re-take the pills just to feel any relief.

Jesus, I still have no idea what that was. I was taking antibiotics at the same time for the infection but lmao that was the worst 2 weeks

Haha it's like you've already read my mind lol! Pretty good tactic, that whole pain distraction thingy is great. Works when you accidently touch a stingy nettle. Just bite ur hand a bunch.
Similar thing works with adrenaline, perhaps psych yourself, listen to clubland. Ofcourse it doesn't last forever

How's it going now? Realistically speaking, I was just waiting for it to end. I still have 2 wisdom teeth to go, so it's only a matter of time before it comes up. Mine happened in February and it freaked me out.

Tell me the timeframe, will use for future reference. Not sure if it takes too long, will you have to go to the doctor?

Is urs erupting and staying?

Not a pussy here, but it's absurd. My wisdom tooth just slowly went under the gums again, complete waste of time.
