how the fuk do you get rid of jock itch?

been like this for a few weeks
went to the skin doc, he gave me anti-fungal cream AND pills (which are pretty strong). 8 days later its maybe a bit better but overall still there and the moment i stop using the meds its back.

i really thought if ill take those pills it will just kill it but seems like i sacrified my health for nothing so far

Wash the area with listerine, the brown stuff.
It kills the fungus almost instantly.
Down side is if its bad it burns like a mrfr.

Do you wear pants that cant breathe like adidas (non-cloth) joggers?

I battled doctor diagnosed "jock itch" for months only to figure out it was a type of heat rash from pants that wouldnt breathe via trial and error..

I stopped wearing pants that wouldnt breathe and five or six days later the rash was gone..It hasnt been back since.

I've had jock itch before, this is everything I did to get rid of it fast.

In the shower, wash the groin area with an anti-fungal soap. You can buy a tea tree oil based soap or a dandruff shampoo.

After the shower, dry the groin area with a blow dryer. Make sure you are dry before putting on underwear and pants.

Before going to the gym, apply anti-fungal powder in the groin area. Also before doing a lot of walking. This will keep you dry.

At night before bed, apply an anti-fungal cream from Lotrimin.

never had jock itch but got poison ivy on my junk once.
the treatments are essentially the same.

spraying apple cider vinegar on it before a shower and gold bond after fixed it up faster than the zinc cream the doctor gave me and it didn't fuk up my underwear either.

If you're wearing cheap cotton briefs, start with getting rid of those. Cotton absorbs moisture, and holds it against you, creating a warm, damp, environment for things to grow.While wool is generally best, they are a bit pricey; Saxx is a new(ish) brand that often hits a lower price point compared to ExOfficio, and the like. The least expensive would be a store brand synthetic, but pure synthetics will get a bit funky quicker. They're still keeping things dry, but will just start to smell sooner.

I feel you OP. I had multiple creams and prescribed pills (Terbinafine). It helped but it's still there. I shower twice a day and make sure to swap out underwear after sweating. I use boxer briefs on normal days and jock straps for heavy activity days.

My wife likes to use that bullchit laundry fragrance booster beads and I think that chit is making my balls itch. I'm not sure really. I'll have to do my laundry with just detergent to see if it helps.
