if you're on a forum typing while trying to be invested in a drama you're not likely to get that into it. not every movie is for everyone and if you don't care for it that's fine too, but try to focus on it and allow for a bit of world building and atmosphere. it's hard to care about something you're half paying attention to.

I think it’s overrated. Like you said it's kinda boring, and if you can tell what's gonna happen then it won't even have the element of surprise either. I think the people who say it's amazing must have missed all the foreshadowing and then were shocked at what happened

it's one of those movies that was amazing at the time

new and refreshing with aSpoiler!
twist at the end


but in the 27 (!!) years since it came out it has been done a lot of times, and often better

I rewatched Seven a couple of years ago (it had been over 10-15 years since I last seen it) and in my mind it was this awesome 10/10 movie but after I finished it I felt underwhelmed this time

still a 8/10 movie though

The Game?

I watched it when I was 15 but can barely remember anything about it. I need to watch it again, as it has a 7.7/10 on imdb, which is usually fairly accurate when it comes to movie ratings.
