Misc Brahs That Had Wisdom Teeth Out

When does the pain usually peak and how long did it last? Had my only one on my lower right side pulled earlier and all I really have is a sore jaw and haven't even used the narcotics they gave me. I believe they cut out some of the bone but I was awake like 30 mins after they started setting everything up so it couldn't have been complicated. I could've honestly gone to work today no issue once the drugs wore off from them knocking me out.

Anyway I'm supposed to fly out either tomorrow or Friday to go catch a hockey game and will obviously be loaded on whiskey but don't want to get on a plane and 2 days after I got it pulled regret my decision because the pain came out of nowhere.

I had mine taken out a couple weeks ago. Same one lower right.

I felt solid after about a week, but I played it passively because I freaked myself out over dry sockets.

Now I feel pretty good.

I was literally drooling when I left that surgery lol.

Pain was really bad when I got home. It lasts for a couple of weeks. First week is really bad.

Yeah I'm taking it easy. I'm off work until Tuesday and will probably avoid the gym until after the weekend. Kind of sucks about eating soft food for now. A pizza sounds GOAT right now.

Just really weird how easy this process seems for now. Even the wife is pissed because she had it rough for a week when she was younger. But she is also mad that she got covid and I didn't so c'est la vie.

It was fine for me. I was bsing with the assistants and next thing I remember I was awake and they were all gone lol. Nothing like getting knocked out in a hospital thank god because that wasn't fun. I was walking around the room just waiting for my ride after about 10 minutes. The hottie assistant still grabbed my arm to walk me out so that was nice. I was dreading this but I feel like I got lucky so far. With my luck though I'll wake up tomorrow curling in a ball in pain.

I got all four of mine pulled in the same procedure, sucked for a day and a half but that was the worst of the pain.

Worst part about the whole procedure is that I woke up while they were still pulling one of them out and got scared so I tried to fall back asleep. They eventually realized I was awake and knocked me back out though.

I had a weird feeling but no pain. I was eating solid food same day. Feel like it's a scam tho. If I could go back and not have them out, is skip it.

When my dad was young he woke up in the middle of surgery on his nose. Pretty much terrified me of ever being knocked out for any type of surgery. Didn't want to but they recommended it and had no issues. Next time I'm in the hospital stuff like that will be on my mind. Wonder if they can just give me something to make me feel drunk so I at least won't hate them as much.

I thought I'd go without having any pulled. I'm in my 30s so it's late. But one finally started coming through sideways and it was irritating the hell out of my gums back there and the tooth next to it.

I have had two removed, I have one that causes no issues and has grown normally, I have one that has half grown out of the gum, it generally causes no issues but flares up every 6 months or so for a few days. Age 40.

Had all of them taken out at once. I'd say the peak would be the 2nd/3rd day? 1st day you're on Dat Dere for a few hours. Then when it's over you feel it for sure. By 7 days you should be straight

I mean I still feel nothing besides a sore jaw so some pain wouldn't be a deal breaker. After 48 hours I should have no problem drinking booze to numb the pain at least.

Had my bottom two taken out years ago. X rays showed I didn't even have any on top thankfully. But mine were impacted, growing into my back back molars, so I was knocked out for it.

Sucked for 2-4 days. Mainly the not being to eat solids right away. Then I was fine in respect to that.

The worst for me though was I had immense jaw pain for about 2 weeks after. I mean brutal jaw pain radiating that wouldn't go away with some pain pills. It would come and go but at night was the worst. Guy said it was just my jaw and mouth settling from the surgery. I don't know how common that is though

Wasnt painful at all for me. Had 2 removed lowers.

Only annoying part was flushing food out of the sockets with the syringe.

Had all 4 pulled in 2009. Only hurt for about a day. Like other posters, they freaked me out about dry sockets but didn't happen.

Mine needed to come out.

I had all 4 of mine removed. I chose local anesthesia which means you feel like someone boot is stepping on your face. Afterwards, I only used 800mg Motrin because the ********s made me depressed.
I probably banged your mom.

Applying ice for 2 hours straight helped a lot with the pain.

Had 2 of mine out. No surgery, just novocaine and pliers. Was a little sore after, but really didn't see what all the fuss is about.

Yeah morning after it's still fairly sore but that's about it. Not really painful just a nuisance. Half tempted to go to the gym honestly.
