Huge +1. Older fellow (probably 75-80) that taught the Sunday school class I attended when I was around 17 used to always tell us "I can resist anything but temptation". I thought it was kind of funny coming from him, he was one of the kindest people I've ever known. But there is so much truth in that statement. He passed away 15+ years ago from cancer but I still think of him occasionally.

ETA: Dang it all, still on spread.

Fleeing/avoiding temptation crew. Yes, I can resist most things, but it's so much easier to just decide in advance.

So many people go stand at the edge of the water, lean over the water, dangle their toes over the water, and then act surprised when they fall in.

It’s much easier to not cheat then to not think adulterous thoughts.


It’s easier to not murder someone then it is to not think about harming them.


Once you can get rid of the mental thoughts that are the seeds to sin, there is no longer temptation.
