“The key nutritional aspects are earth-grown nutrients. That’s real food. That’s whole food. I like to say - No pills, no powders, no potions. We don’t need that garbage. We need real food. Real food has sustained life on this planet since the dawn of time. And that’s exactly what I feed my athletes and I want them to eat. I want everyone to eat that because that’s what we truly need. Fresh berries, eggs, avocado, nuts. A lot of water – water is life. Wild caught lean meats – nothing preserved, no chemicals, lots of vegetables, I’m a huge produce fan – because that is life. And then complex carbohydrates in the form of quinoa, brown rice, sweet potatoes – things like that. And we eat! I make sure my athletes are constantly eating a tremendous amount of highly usable foods.” – Mike Dolce

Bodybuilding supplements are largely a gimmick and utterly useless. I'll only consume whey protein because I make protein pudding with it. Haven't had a 'protein shake' in a decade.
