Diablo 2 RS ladder starting

Diablo 2: Resurrected's first ladder season is expected to begin April 28, 2022. Blizzard is leaving a two-week gap between the release of Patch 2.4 and the ladder's start to iron out any further issues that pop up with the live launch. This should ensure everything from class skills to mercenaries to new runewords are working properly.

Why the initial delay? Patch 2.4 hit the Public Test Realm on Jan. 25 and lasted a few weeks, during which time the developers uncovered some issues. Stash conversions, delayed creating and joining games, and some regional issues are being fixed as we speak before a live version of Patch 2.4 is rolled out.
