Just LOL if you're not all cash at the moment.

USD is rising against all other currencies and is showing MAJOR strength in the short term.

Before any of you say anything about it being JPY, this is also seen across the board with GBP and EUR

-Price is above 21 EMA
-MACD has crossed and is in a bullish uptrend
-Currency Strength indicator reaching upper limits
-ADX on uptrend and about to cross 25
-Price has broken out of long term downtrend
-Price has broken above the previous fakeout breakdown
-Price is now retesting recent uptrend that was brokendown by fakeout

Everything indicates that price will go higher into the supply zone, and even possibly bring in new ATHs

Here is the macro news:

Cash is king for the foreseeable future in the short term. Ensure to watch key levels that will be retested soon for a reversal, will be time to go short for huge gains.

The stock market tanking, crypto is sliding down, real estate crashed in March 2022 and continues to fall...... this means everyone is selling everything they got and hoarding cash...

To retest previous ATH is an additional 12.5% increase from where price is at the moment. Which should beat out inflation.

Additionally, once market finds its bottom being all cash will open up massive opportunities to go long for extremely cheap.

Im expecting a 17% correction on spy at minimum up to 48% into demand zones. Spy price is looking like it will cross over 21 EMA very soon and confirm downtrend continuation. I am looking to load up SPY puts this month

Exactly. Currency strength will just continue to go up, and a lot of buying opportunities will be presented. Having cash at that point will be biggest brain move since 2008

cash is trash. If it doesn't pay me a dividend, i want nothing to do with it. Real estate, dividend paying ETF's in REAL companies (IE KO, O, MO, CAT, JNJ, Etc.), crypto staking in real projects like ETH and SOL....all much better options than cash. Keep just enough on hand to pay your bills and pay for a few emergencies. Everything else should be invested and working for you.

You do realize that his stocks will recover and grow at roughly the same rate expected, right? The US dollar hit a 20-year high against rivals on Thursday as the Bank of Japan doubled-down on its dovish policy, sending the yen to its weakest level since 2002, while the euro hit a five-year low on growth concerns for the region.

I'm not selling any of my current holdings but I anticipated things sliding down so I'd been stacking cash instead of DCA in like I normally do.

I'm most likely going to go all in with Crypto when I feel like we've reached a bottom and another bull run is on the horizon. Assuming you pick the right micro-caps you can literally 100X your money so I'm fairly excited at the prospect.

The point isnt to hold cash forever. Its to hold since its running to retest ATH while stocks are dumping.. Then once reversal comes in you will have enough cash handy to purchase back in for way cheaper.

I dont trade crypto brah. But a quick look at BTC chart, its kinda hard cuz it just looks like theres consolidation occuring, break could be either above or below depending on news. If you watch the video above that I linked nasdaq is coupled with BTC right now so a drop in the nasdaq which looks very likely should be followed with BTC drop too.

BTC at the moment is testing 21 EMA which is pretty important so we will see if it drops below and holds. This level also brings us into a previous demand zone and most likely looking to retest key level at 29k. MACD is also signalling a down trend continuation

If BTC breaks down past that I see BTC -> 14k

Logically speaking, this was completely expected and predictable.... As living costs rises (food prices, gas, utilities, property taxes etc) people have to sell off their investments just to survive because wages have been stagnant for well over a decade......

For the boyos with cash reserves and good salaries, the next 1.5 years will have huge buying opportunities for investments......

Hold and wait for USD to reverse after hitting new ATH

Hold and wait for market to bottom out and buy back in on the confirmed reversal into an uptrend

OR if you want some risk you could short or buy puts

Usually you dont want to hold cash because its depreciates due to inflation. But since the value of the dollar is appreciating to match/surpass inflation while the market is going down. Its better to just hold cash for now

Not investment advice. lol

But so far the trend has been for crypto to move in the same direction as the stock market and in opposition to the US$.

US$ down = crypto up

US$ up = crypto down

BOJ dovish/QE. China pretty much pegs their currency to be below the US$. EU & UK seem to be getting hit pretty hard by the Russia sanctions.

Cliffs: None of central banks behind the other major currencies appear to be trying to "fight inflation" [aka: "deflated" via higher interest rates and market operations].

The Fed says they are raising rates and doing QT- how much and for how long? No idea really.

I'm just buying everything in sight. LOL at holding cash when it's all at a discount.

In b4 you all think you're gonna time it perfect and buy at the absolute bottom.

I'm heavy cash right now (and gold and silver) simply because it has transactional value. Recently sold my car and bought another used in better shape at a huge discount. Buying a lot of things right now that I need upgrades on like laptop, phone, etc.

Anyone that says cash is trash never accounts for transactional ability of it. Hard to make moves when all your money is tied up in 401ks and roth ira's.
