If it wasn't before it for sure is now thanks to all the influx of commiefornians moving here. Crime went up 66% in the past year. I live in the outskirts but i'm looking to move away and i've lived here my entire life.

Houston has to have a simile vibe to Louisiana, right? I can't imagine living somewhere that is hit by a hurricane every year or two.

Demographics aside, Houston is a literal swamp and if you like outdoor activities, there is fukk all to do.

Can’t imagine living there for any other reason than a job (there are lots of great paying jobs in Houston).

You couldnt pay me enough money to move my family inside 610 loop... or BW8 for that matter... I have repped the North Side my entire life and currently live in a nice neighborhood towards the back of The Woodlands... Houston proper is absolutely a chithole, but head a few miles outside Btwy 8 and there are some really nice suburbs. Woodlands on the Northside, Katy on the West, and Pearland/Friendswood on the South. All have highly ranked schools, very low crime rates, and muh diversity hasn't affected them too much.

I lived in houston 12 years ago and it was really nice. Went to a conference at university of houston last month and it was a chit hole. Just walking around campus I thought for sure I was going to get attacked or robbed. Won't be returning anytime soon.
