A huge number of murdered people are never acknowledged as dead

Not even talking about the typical homeless who gets killed in a random brawl and nobody notices it since they have no family.

+ Think about mentally ill parents who kill their kids (ie. Casey Anthony) a bulk of them dont report their deaths and just go on with their life. We are just a number and the government has no way to track who people really are at a bulk

I agree and disagree. I see cold cases from 50+ years ago being solved constantly. They are still identifying John Gacy victims to this day for example. However, like you said, homeless people/prostitutes/hitchhikers/etc. etc. usually get ignored. That's why they make perfect victims for serial killers.

I work with abused kids.

We currently have one whose mother is crazy and kept him home until he was recently discovered. He's NINE!

He can barely talk due to him growing up and no one around him really talking, but he is learning.

I believe some kind of neighbor turned her in.

In a ghetto area or rural one, it would be easy to make kids just disappear.

Just yesterday I got a new case and it's a 15 year old girl.

She and her sister were being drugged and kept as sex slaves by their mom's "boyfriend" in a locked room.

Again, they were not missed and likely some accident happened that saved the girls.

I didn't really follow the case until it was blowing up in every media outlet and SJW social media account. My take is that she was on drugs and unhinged, decided to get out of her Uber ride and unluckily ended up in a whore house. Once in the whore house some customer raped and killed her accidentally. Now we are watching the cover up

very good insight, the 9 year old kid is essentially a grey unregistered human in the US. Thats just 1 case in your community that managed to get idenfitied in your community

extrapolate to the whole country and start considering all the grey kids and unreported murders

The kid, who appears white is cute and I can tell he understand what is being said, so he's smart. However, he can only make "Ooo" type sounds. So, I wanted sure if he has a physical speech problem or is it just environmental.

However, his speech is coming along now that he's in foster care, so I assume that his mother didn't even bother to speak to him much.

That's pretty heinous.

On a good note, his foster mom is a black woman. She is going above and beyond to help him. So, if you even think some negative thoughts about black people, remember that she is one of them!

Funny:

This boy's mother told him all kinds of crazy stuff about food, thus making him not want to eat because he learned insane rules about food.

I have been lifting my whole life and I'm a large man.

The little boy lost ten pounds after moving into foster care because of his eating rules. So, I said to him "Johnny....if you want to be big like I am you must eat. If you do not eat, you will not grow because food makes you grow!

His eyes literally went BOING!!! out of his head when I said that. Since then, he started eating.

I agree.

My job is to try to figure out the mystery to the cases I have and they refer them to the best treatment for the future.

I got him speech therapy and put him on a Behavioral Reinforcement plan and he's doing pretty well.

However, a kid like that has a LONG road ahead.

He was scratching his own face open from frustration and stuff but I explained how to help him reduce that to school and family and he's improving.

He's a very cheerful kid which is amazing.

The idea of 'serial killers' and/or people that murder for sport is a relatively new one. Simple truth is we've only been civilized for a relatively short period of time.


It really wasn't 'that' long ago:

-African tribes were committing genocide/slaughtering each other/taking/selling slaves.
-Native American tribes were traversing across America. Raiding other tribes. Killing for sport/prestige. Taking slaves. Raping/plundering. Etc.
-Mayans, Aztecs, etc. were performing human sacrifices and brutal fukked up rituals.


I can't even imagine what kind of fukked up things happened prior to our 'known' history. Simple truth is there was a time when taking human life was reguarded as sport, religion, or was just a part of day to day life.

Stuff like this is probably so much more common than anyone would guess.

I really think the vast majority of households are not suitable for children and abuse them at least partially to heinous degrees.

I agree with that.

I noted when growing that my father was cheated out of college by his mother when he was a kid and I think it affected him behavior in the family.

There's a great movie with Jimmy Stewart called It's a Wonderful Life, and I think it illustrates the problem.

Jimmy's character was an awesome guy. He was very smart and had dreams about traveling the world and so on. However, whenever there was trouble, he was the first in line to use his brain to help others.

There was ALWAYS trouble and he never got to leave his hometown because he was always helping others survive. Eventually, he got really frustrated with having to do all of this work for others. It made him less fun, irritable, and not as invested in the wife and kids and he should have been.

Eventually, he decided to kill himself. He said he wished he was never born and god sent an angel to show him what would have happened if he was never born.

He learned that he had done all kinds of things to improve life, save people, and so on.

I have observed that a lot of people are like the Jimmy Stewart character and that's why they made the movie. However, in real life most people don't wake up to the fact that their kids are treasures and they are like superheroes to their kids. Instead, they regret having kids, regret having them with the person they did, and so on.

So, a lot of kids are born into families that don't really act like they want them. So, the get no, to midlevel love and attention, all of which amounts to direct or indirect child abuse.

In one area where I lived in Philly there was a public access TV channel and I watched a local show with two women talking how to take care of parrots.

They were fat Karen types.

Anyway, everything they said about taking care of birds was what you should do with kids. Meanwhile, if you told women to take care of their kids in the same caring way, they would attack you.

That show stuck in my head. It's animal abuse if you don't provide a rich environment for parrots but don't tell me how to raise my kid!!

I think most approaches to life seem incomplete without a spiritual element to realize the point of all of this is human life.

Love, concern for humans and valuing them from the start really keeps things from turning antisocial.

I agree.

Also, there are more grounded but hugely important things people do that really make a difference.

For instance, I also smile and say "hello" to people because I might be saying hi to someone who is thinking of suicide, depressed, wants to kill people, and so on.

There's lots of little things we can do that are awesome.

When I go visit kids in school, and these are all black kids, sometimes the other kids will get really excited that I'm my client's dad!

I am a white guy---but the kids think it's cool that someone's dad is coming to visit. Meanwhile, most of these little boys have no dad.

So, the dad is out there missing out on feeling like a VIP in front of his son.

That's very tragic if you think about it.

I appreciate it.

It's emotional stuff but really good for me to deal with as it gives me a lot of passion and sense of purpose.

Plus, it's cool to see little kids do well.

Before I typically worked with criminals and dangerous people. They are important to neutralize but helping kids is a really great feeling.

I have to agree and I'm not for killing people.

If there is 100% then what use is this person?

I have heard and been exposed to countless "porn fantasy" stories that were played out in real life in Philly. The drug culture is horrible here and it's associated with all kinds of perversion.

I have a friend of mine who is a cute female. She was brought up as a child prostitute by her family who were part of the "Outlaw" biker gang. She later met a lesbian when she was a kid who raped her and made her think she was a lesbian. By the time she grew up she was a massive drug addict, used to drug and rape girls she met with her boyfriend, and it was to "prove" to those girls they liked being lesbian.

She has countless stories like that.

Anyway, she is smart, funny, and great to talk to but she never had a chance since she was a little girl due ot the pervert druggies that gave birth to her.

I used to get secretly mad at her in the past and think she should just die, but later I changed and just feel badly for her.

I actually say prayers that she will get better.

Give me an honest response bro. How good is this anime? I keep getting recommendations for animes that are supposed to be incredible and i find them average at best. I know fist of the Northstar is pretty lengthy anime so I want to hear an accurate account of why its good before i make the commitment.

Funny:

This boy's mother told him all kinds of crazy stuff about food, thus making him not want to eat because he learned insane rules about food.

I have been lifting my whole life and I'm a large man.

The little boy lost ten pounds after moving into foster care because of his eating rules. So, I said to him "Johnny....if you want to be big like I am you must eat. If you do not eat, you will not grow because food makes you grow!

His eyes literally went BOING!!! out of his head when I said that. Since then, he started eating.
Do you have him working with a speech pathologist?
