Tested positive for the Covid this morning...

Didn't stop me from hammering some fish this morning...





Reps to whoever imbeds if that didn't work...it never works for me...


Kept a small one for dinner, now relaxing in my cabin in the bush so I don't get my wife sick.


Got phlegm and a sort of a weak cough, and feeling kind of tired...fire is on, now gonna fry up some fish and take it easy for a few days.

Didn't have a lot of fight in it.

Pound for pound the smaller ones fight better.

She went back, and I kept a smaller one. They are great if you get the bones out!

That’s common in a lot of fish species, In The northeast we fish for striped bass, the stories I hear about the upper echelon fish of 50+ pounders seem less dramatic, they get lazier. The 30-40 pounders are the ones that will give you a heart break more often. My pb 35 pound striper broke the stock hook on my lure and I only got it in because the back hook was hooked into her jaw

Mostly because my nose is completely clear and I can sleep well.


I am real susceptible to sore throats...have been my whole life. And my throat isn't even sore..I just keep having to kind of clear my throat.

The fatigue kinda sucks, but I still fished for 6 hrs this morning, so it's nowhere near debilitating

50 lbs is just mass tho eh? Like dead weight on the line


If a 40" pike fought like a 16" smallmouth bass, we'd never boat them lol.
