he has such a bro-y american voice but apparently he was a navy seal? he just recycles stories from other websites/youtubes but he does a good job at narrating

Love this guy man. He is an excellent story teller and I like that he gives each of these stories their due with 30-40 min length videos and great picture selection.

He’s one of the rare story tellers that can provide depth and context to make you feel like you’re there without getting overly caught up in the details of each situation. On top of all that he seems like a hell of a good dude.

One of the few i have sub'd to. I also sub'd to a husband/wife team pod/youtube cast called Scared to Death. Pretty interesting stories and the husband is an actual Comedian i guess.

I am a big fan of the strange, dark, and mysterious delivered in story format. Dude has racked up over 5 million subs in like less than 2 years and has a podcast now. Really like the missing 411 series he did early on

i will say that mr ballen usually steals the stories from other people and his research isnt as good as other ones. i think he's one of the few story tellers that actually narrate on camera so thats why he's more successful. also he has a pretty masculine american voice if a little surfer bro sounding.

What's one of the best eps to begin with? Like a greatest hits suggestion, will rep

Have twice hit him up on Apple Podcasts and just picked the most recent upload both times, but each story was so outlandish it seemed like I was listening to a reading of an R.L. Stine Goosebumps book.
I see this guy's stuff recommended almost anytime podcasts come up so I feel like maybe I just caught a couple off ones

I have watched most of "Dive Talk" with Gus and Woody, and they go over a lot of Ballen's diving accident/horror related videos.

While his vids are decent, he gets a lot of information wrong, and the Dive Talk guys correct him.





Haven't seen any Ballen vids not related to diving, are they worth it?
