You get to go in a time machine for 24 hours

You can only go in the past , and you cannot use this one time offer for financial gain . What year and where would you choose to go ?

I would seriously like to see dinosaur's , but the Roswell incident in 1947 has always intrigued me, so I would like to be there in person when the crash took place so I could see for myself if it was in fact an alien spacecraft , which I believe it was .

Probably just go back to the era of ancient Greece to see how life really was. Apparently there are a lot of things we will never know about since a lot of artifacts and literature was destroyed long ago

I wouldn't want to go too far back in the past. The chances of being killed, enslaved, murdered, eaten, infected, executed etc are pretty high.

Personally I'd like to go back to my final days of high school where I had no idea what to do with my life and encourage my younger self and give some guidance on what to explore so that I make better choices and not spend years wandering from one career to another.

Problem is you'd be vaporized in a nanosecond so you wouldn't be able to observe much. The universe at this point in it's history is FAR too hot and dense for any observers to exist, and in fact the first tiny portion of time (i.e less than a second, but long enough to vaporize you) would be during the electroweak epoch where the higgs field has a zero value at every point in space, and effectively the universe would be a quark-gluon plasma. There would be particle/anti-particle collisions annihilating each other all over the place and releasing huge amounts of energy because this period in the universes history is prior to baryogenesis.

Even forgetting that, pretty much all electromagnetic radiation would be shorter wavelength (i.e gamma rays, x rays, infrared) and there probably wouldn't be much visible light to see

I'm not even getting greedy. I'd go back to 2018 when I did my first long solo trip. I didn't realize it at the time, but everybody was carefree and easygoing. Friendly as hell. After COVID, society everywhere just doesn't give off the same vibes.

Even the end of 2020 was better than now. People weren't fully neutered by that point, and still had some drive.
