Worker output fell 7.5% in the first quarter, the biggest decline since 1947

- Worker productivity fell 7.5% in the first quarter, the fastest decline since 1947.
- labor costs as measured against productivity soared 11.6%, bringing the increase over the past four quarters to 7.2%, the fastest rise in about 40 years.
- Weekly jobless claims increased to 200,000, well above the Wall Street estimate.

We need to revolut!! All these greedy businesses do not want to pay a livable wage. How else am I supposed to afford my daily grubhub, my 7 series bmw, giorgio armani perfume and clubbing every night?

These businesses need to get on our level.

Massive productivity declines along with massive labor cost increases and huge cost of goods increases also means that we're wage-price spiraling. If inflation's a pitbull, that's the jaws locking. It's over.

Wow. It's almost like forcing thousands of businesses to close, providing everyone with free paychecks in the form of increased "unemployment" (I put that in quotes because it wasn't true unemployment, it was manufactured by government), and then handing out so much free money that you double the money supply has consequences.

How fukin dumb are the people who run this place
