Does anyone here feel like the type of video game genre that you enjoy or appeals to you reflects on potential career interests or proclivity?

For example if you enjoy:
RTS games = that means you could make an excellent manager as you are good at giving directions, keeping an eye on finances, leading units, giving orders/instructions etc.

Simulation games = that means you like to follow step by step directions, you like to tinker around/explore the object or device you are controlling.

Open world games = that means you enjoy exploring. traveling, enjoy adventures, you are a practical person with natural curiosity, you enjoy solving problems or challenging obstacles etc.

FPS = that means you are a natural-born killer/sadistic/cruel/inhumane individual with a penchant for violence (not serious). I guess if you like FPS games you probably like straightforward goals and tasks, you are generally cautious and careful and like to plan things out before rushing headlong into a task, you like to lead trusted team members towards a particular goal.


I dunno; what do you guys think?

No but I do notice girls almost exclusively play simulator type games but don't like to tinker/explore

and old people play puzzles or whatever Candy Crush is

Well, I'm unemployed with no job prospects and I enjoy hack and slash role playing games. What does that say about me?
