Something odd a Mexican guy told me who sells tours at the airport is that you should never ever come to Mexico with a woman and say they are not your wife. Something about how people will use that as dirt against you and will try to blackmail you because they think you're out there having an affair with another woman. Tell my wife!". The mofo was trying to get his name from the front desk agent. Strange encounters for sure.
