Should I invest my house down payment fund?

I have about $100k in a money market savings account

Might throw most of it in if the S&P hits 3400

Warren Buffet says be greedy when there's blood in the streets and scared when everyone is greedy. People are chitting their pants right now, nobody knows where the bottom is, but that's how it always is. If it were me and I want to invest in something somewhat safe I'd throw most of it into an S&P500 index fund.

Wait for your target price and slowing buy in. Too many people going all in at the "bottom" to find out its not the bottom and are cucked hard.

Update: Ended up putting in about $50k over the past few weeks. Starting to build my down payment fund back up - timeline for buying a house is probably 2-3 years at this point so no biggie.

Nice. People losing their minds over stocks taking a chit this year, but taking a look at a longer timeline (like 5 years) and it looks to be a correction after the massive runup we just had.

Are you using the stock market to try build your down payment back up or are you using other revenue to build it up after putting that money in the stock market?

I dumped some money into my brokerage account (housed at Wealthfront).

Now I'm focusing on working, saving, and rebuilding the down payment fund, which is in an online high-interest savings account.
