Is Red Hot Chili Peppers new album any good?

I know they're getting old, but I'm a huge Frusciante fan got really excited when he came back.

Here Ever After is an amazing song.

I'm the type to wait even a year to watch a movie that's amazing.

Just watched Joker couple weeks ago amazing.

I've still never watched Once Upon A Time In Hollywood I'm holding that for another year srs. hehhe

I'm not excited to hear anything new by the Chillis and I like them. They had a minimum of 5 absolute bangers back in the day but they're boomers now. No hate but muscians tend to lose creativity and relevance as they get older.

It is ok. Most songs are on the slow side. Reminds me of their One Hot Minute album.

Watched them in Rock in Rio in 2019. Sadly it isnt Frusciante but Josh still.

New album sucks. I'm going to pretend it doesn't exist

The technical side is good. Obviously the band can play their instruments like a motherfukin riot.

The song writing seems formulaic. Just slightly above that of Foo Fighters who are always bottom of the barrel IMO.

Anthony's singing sucks. And I've enjoyed him in the past. He just needs to harness some of that old raw style from BSSM.

I'm actually surprised Frusciante was cool with releasing the album with his name in the credits.

One of the worst bands ever. Same guitar riffs, same weird rap cadence in vocals, same bull**** random words/places that rhyme. Terrible.

made a thread some time ago about how awful the band is. Years ago I was driving and was listening to Blood sugar sex magic on CD. It occurred to me then except for Frusciantes guitar playing (I play) they are an awful band. I took the CD out the player and threw it out my car window. Kiedis voice is awful...guy ruins songs.

of course I was right and without Frusciante RHCP get whatever guitarist and fade into obscurity. Cuz They suck. they probably all get in line and blow him for deciding to rejoin.

I totally had respect for JF that he quit, thinking this guy finally really came to his senses and was WTF? this band sucks! (I'm pretty sure he'll quit again out of shame).
