Chopping wood feels better then lifting srs

Forgot how good it feels to chop wood and I got 10x the rush I do after lifting. I was happy for 24 hrs after and slept like a baby. Lifting has become a chore and I wish I could do something as fun as chopping wood that had the same benefits.

Haven't chopped wood since I was a teenager. Can confirm it is a good workout and satisfying in small doses. Very rewarding to make huge stacks in the summer and then throw in the fireplace in winter.

I really don’t like lifting as well


That’s why I always opt for some sort of cardio like burpees or jumprope or shadow boxing

Pull ups included


Hence pissening physique

Probably lift 1x a week (srs)

Just cut 4 25ft. Logs to firewood length, hauled home and gonna split later. Constant grind when you wood boiler maxing but I sorta enjoy it too. Great exercise for sure

I seriously enjoy it too but don't get a lot of opportunities living in the city. I'd call it mostly conditioning work though. Not a lot of strength involved once you are proficient.

Cut a few trees last month. Fantastic cardio.
*Look at reflection in car window and flex every time crew*
*Use half the roll to wipe after a poo crew*
*Fart in the gym and blame rotten smell on faulty ventilation crew*
*Fart at home and blame it on the dog crew*
*Watch neutron-star density poop mock me as water flushes around it and it stays put crew*
*Drive 2 minutes in the summer and back of shirt gets completely wet crew*
*Coffee black as midnight on a moonless night crew*

I used a super long attachment at the gym to sort of simulate chopping wood and other rotational core moments....Good stuff.
