Anyone else’s dreams make no fukking sense at all?
I don’t mean just how they can be all over the place and weird as fuk. That’s very normal.
But I have dreams of situations involving complex dialogue that my brain could never think of on its own if I were a writer.
I’ll literally be asking someone legit questions in some of my dreams and then being shocked by their response. My brain somehow concocted the entire story, yet it’s surprised that they gave me the answer that they did...
That. Doesn’t. Make. Any. Fukking. Sense.
That would be like if I wrote and directed an entire movie and then was shocked when something happened that I knew would happen.

I have a theory that dreams are for entertainment purposes for the brain so that it can remain in a sleeping state for healing. It may have meaning or it may not.
But if that were true, it doesn't explain nightmares, which causes you to wake. But then again, waking can be a good thing if your arm has been cut off from circulation or your breathing is somehow impeded.

stopped smoking green almost a month now, from smoking every day.
Dreams have been fuking bat**** insane, vivid and interesting.
All over the place is true, but sometimes too scary or vivid srs.
Thankfully it's been toning down as the days go by..

Now this sh!t’s got me questioning whether I really even loved/liked my own father because this specific dream keeps on happening.
Really fukking with my head.

Idk what’s worse/better.......having an amazing dream only to wake up to reality, or having a horrifying nightmare only to wake up relieved that it wasn’t real.

I've had dreams which were very archetypal in nature, almost like it wasn'tmydream based on my memories, but more like a collective unconscious with aspects from the history of conscious/sapient animals. There have been ones which were exceptionally detailed tours through various mythologies, Egyptian, Indian, Greek etc. replete with detailed interactions with mythological characters like Vishnu, Krishna etc.

Actually lately I have been having super vivid dreams of complete day-to-day stuff. The last one was just me being at work having a regular day, and interacting with co-workers as I do daily. Solving problems, etc. Woke up from one and I was completely disoriented, and for a few secs, I thought I had come from work and knocked out. Until I check the time and realise I was having a dream.
Has happened a few times; of vivid daily routines I have.
Anyone else has?

I had a strange dream the other week in which I had a pet shark. i'd go swimming in the ocean and the shark would tag along with me. It liked that I rubbed it's snout. Very odd.
Most of my dreams though are more realistic I suppose.

Part of last night's dream montage was that I was followed into a corridor by an attractive mixed-race female who I seemed to know, who then pulled a smallish knife on me. I recall telling her to stop it and put it away. The corridor maze we were in was really narrow and tight and I recall a feeling of claustrophobia setting in.
I had other dreams but unless they are somehow intense I just forget them by morning.

Yeah dreams are crazy
This morning i was aware in my dream that I was being bottomed out by this guy from the gym and after he came, i woke up to find that my undies had somehow wedgied them selves and caused the 'pain' i was experienced in my angus, though I'm not sure why the big strong and tattooed guy was in my dreams though.
I've had other weird dreams as well that felt surreal - in one dream i was a middle eastern guy who stole an audi R8 and was taking it for a joy ride and i distinctly remember driving under a bridge and seeing 'the boys' and feeling so proud of the hottie (stolen car) that i had in front of them, it literally felt like a real life thing and like i had 'achieved' something, especially considering how 'my boys' were impressed with the hottie - it's just crazy how the guy driving the car had no inhibitions about stealing a car and felt like a million bucks, even though everybody looks down on this behaviour. It's an experience, that's for sure.
The next day i saw the story of how a guy had this white audio r8 stolen by some guy in sydney on the news (this was back in april 2017).

I just mainly wanna know how it can come up with stories that are wayyyyy more complex than ones I could ever think of. And that I’m shocked by the answers my own brain created. Like one half is fighting with the other half.

What I also hate how when you punch someone in your dream, it feels like you’re doing it underwater and that you have no power. Or the gun jams or doesn’t fire when the bad guy is right in front of you like Samuel L. Jackson forgetting to take the safety off.

To me it's better to have a great dream and wake up to reality than nightmares IMO.. at least the good dream feels nostalgic in a way
