If you put your hands on cardio machines, yous a bisch
I used to argue a lot that HRV and just keeping your heart rate in a fat burning zone was what mattered for cardio and it being low impact.
Boy was I wrong.
Hand on the treadmill, stairs, or elliptical is bull****.
Its horrible movement, its lazy, and it doesnt burn NEARLY the calories the machine is saying, you are literally burning like 1/2 to 1/4 the calories(depending on the machine 1/2 for stairs 1/4 for treadmill, 1/3 for elliptical)
so those little 45 min uphill walking with hands on the machine saying you burned 600 calories was more like 150.
Also if you just stop being a puss for like 3 cardio sessions it gets easier keeping your hands off, including the stairmaster.
BRB on level 10 no hands at 255lbs for 30 min.
