Should I wear a tuxedo to a wedding?

Going to one of my cousins wedding next week and actually considering it as buying a new suit seems too much hassle.

I got a £200 gift voucher for ASOS as a reward I got from work so it's not like it will cost me actual money.

Thinking about getting the navy one or burgundy but with a burgundy bow tie and black shirt.

Will I look fresh or like too much of a try hard? The trousers are an additional 30 quid so will only be £100.

no, you will look like an a**hole. just buy a slim cut solid black suit. it's so versatile - weddings, funerals, formals, outings. white point collar shirt (no buttons on collar) and slim black tie. black shoes. black socks. black belt.

you do realize those only look good on extremely skinny lanky dudes right?

on guys like you it just makes you look like a child who doesnt know how to dress himself or someone who couldnt afford to buy a new suit when his got too small.

Simple black suit, white shirt and (if you insist) a colourful bow tie.

Imo navy blue or gray suit is the way to go by default

Yeah although I like wearing black, black suits just screams funeral to me and looks too generic.
