Yes it's to keep blood in there for a constant erection. Some people in BDSM use it as kind of a pain/torture thing to perform things like edging and you can also pound for longer but it can be dangerous if erect for too long, just like with boner pills.

It was our anniversary weekend so I purchased it for chits and giggles based on your recommendation - thought at a minimum it'd just be something quirky the wife and I could say we tried.

Bro. 6 speeds, soft "suede" rubber is comfortable, easy to use and charge.

Manufacturers obviously have to choose a universal size when mass producing these things. The one I reviewed above felt fine - took some getting used to, but I've used it twice now without issue.
