I'm no economist, but a combination of return to normal economic activity with opening of businesses and people spending more money (money that was printed), coupled with lingering supply chain disruption AND return to importing most of our energy supply = raise in cost of living.

Look, fat, here's the deal...
...we doled out fat wads of cash - an unprecedented amount into the broad money supply (the pleebs).
The fed et al was probably hoping that it would only bump real inflation up to 5 or 6%...high enough to give us a big discount on the actual cost of our debt, but low enough to still claim and pass off as 2% while keeping rates low.
I've also noticed that China stopped shipping my stuff...they say it's because of the Wu flu, but I think they're just being assh*les and want us paying even higher prices.
Fukk them and their piles of corn.

People need homes to leave and the price of transporting construction material goes up? people will pay a higher price for their homes.
Same applies for food, etc.

Fed tanked rates to save economy from Fauci
Fed refused to raise rates for literally an entire year despite COVID proving to be nothing and employers begging for jobs. Aka continuing to print money and inflate assets
This led to market, home prices, crypto, etc all going boom. If you held assets outside of cash your net worth exploded over night. Time to buy more stuff - greater demand equals higher prices
Oh and remember Fauci/CDC/Biden? Their guidelines made it almost impossible for any company or manufacturer to operate at full capacity. Less supply equals higher prices
Biden also extending unemployment benefits despite employers begging for workers. Extending federal checks program. Student loan forbearance. Can’t evict people. Don’t have to pay mortgage Etc - all ways for govt to pump money into economy
Now you add in Russia and oil prices being jacked due to once again cut in supply and dem policy to not be energy independent because oil = satan
Mix it all together and yea we are fuarked. The absolute best part about this is that there is absolutely zero evidence, none, that any of this stuff saved lives from Covid. Florida let it rip and had just as much deaths per capita, and in many cases less, as blue states
Long story short and Biden and Fauci should be tossed into a hole for what they’ve done to this country

Yeah I have the same question, this started with trump and the money printer back in March 2020. The energy prices soaring can be attributed to Biden which ties into all products.
See you tomorrow
