What's your local government doing with all of the new tax dollars?

Property taxes in my area have gone up 30%.

We also have a legit retarded car tax where most people pay around 1000/year per car, which is up nearly 50% from last year.

Begs the question: What the fook are local governments doing with all this new cash? They're not paying teachers or local fire/police with it. We've lost nearly 30% of our district's teachers and vacant spots continue to open with fire/police.

I also pay 1000+ for the right to drive my car in Mexico City. Just LOL at vehicle taxes, fuking money grubbing whores

The answer to your question, local governments are hiring more people, paying their workers more and paying their suppliers more. Theres no benefit to paying more taxes, just fighting off inflation the democrat way
