how do you avoid the work snitch trap

lets say you work with a couple of snakes out to get you.

there are a couple of options on dealing with them:

1. confront them
2. make them look stupid
3. stay silent, i feel like to avoid the minefield of bs at work you have to just stay quiet.


What do you do?

Worked at a hypercompetitive consulting firm for 6 years. Coworkers constantly backstabbing and playing the usual competition/ego-driven corporate games. Just get your money and experience and GTFO toxic corporate culture.
