I kinda know what you mean. If I get up and it's super sunny and hot outside, it puts me on a downer. I can't fully explain it.

I am 150% an autumn and winter person. I prefer the cold air, leafless tress, grey overcast sky and long dark nights.

The heat is more physically uncomfortable as phuck especially these days. Easier to throw on a sweatshirt than it is to run around naked.

I live in a college town, which goes from a decently lively place to fuking dead during the Summer. There's still plenty to do, but unless I wanted to become someone who is out to bars for 2 hours every night and spending $3k per month on entertainment, the social scene isn't that great. Sometimes if I'm sitting at home on weekends and the probability of destructive activities goes up big time(binge eating, etc).

Good options: Buy a lake house nearby if you can afford it. Somewhere to spend time and get out of your current situation. Travel and Biking also help me a lot.

Nah I love spring/summer/fall. The only time I'd get sad over the weather is the winter. Brb inside all the time. Brb barely any sunshine. Terrible.

You’re probably getting down because on some level you’re nostalgic for all the awesomeness that summer brought in your past. I’d say the best chance to get over it is to go out and do stuff. If you’re dealing with feelings of sadness or depression your mind and body are telling you to change something. Take full advantage of long days and weather where you can be outside.

Usually the only time of year I get legit down is in winter when it’s cold as fukk and dark all the time. Occasionally I’ll experience what you’re talking about, but you just have to keep moving and usually you’ll snap out of it.

Everything is brought back to life, more color, girls wearing skimpy clothes, etc

Winter everything is dead and depressing…like everything is grey
