What's worse? (Mass shooter scenario)

If your kid is the shooter or if your kid gets killed in one of these shootings? Which one of the two would be harder to live with?

I think it'd probably be worse if your kid's the shooter.

I'd feel like a failure of a parent if they were the mass shooter.

I'd feel robbed if my child was killed but a kid being the mass shooter would be harder hitting.
