Any F1 fans? This is an AMG Black series w/ the F1 pace livery.

Really cool. My buddy is thinking of picking it up and we were checking out a few things yesterday.

The car is orange under F1 wrap which was gotten from the F1 supplier of the cars.

My buddy is thinking of getting this one. I told him to drive it with the wrap for a while. The Black Series is a very special car for sure. I love this thing!

I can see your lack of car knowledge. This not a AMG GT. This is a Black Series. Every single piece, aero, wing, is designed to optimize this cars performance. This car holds the Nurburring record.

The livery on the car is the official F1 livery as they use this car as a safety car since it is about the only production car that can run fast enough to keep the F1 cars at a safe min speed. The F1 drivers complain when they use the Aston Martin as it is not fast enough to keep the F1 cars at an allowable min speed.

This is not some cheezey car that someone put a wing and stickers on. This is a car that comes out of the factory prepped to run right on the race track.

you are correct. i couldn't care less about all of that. i'm not a wannabe boy racer screaming for attention. but i do like the AMG GT Cabriolet.

I like lambos but I think I am moving into 720s. Was looking at one while there. My good friend just added an Ultimae to his collection. Super nice limited last edition Aventador. Limited to 350 units, but a few were lost in the ship that went down.

If he did not do the Ultimae, he was considering this Senna. It is an over the top spec. CRAZY really. But if you buy a Senna, do you think subtle. The paint has actual groud diamonds in them and was a 50k adder. The car is CRAZY looking

Dude, what you dont get, is people enjoy these cars....and take them to the track to use them what they were designed for. You dont have to like it, but there are people who would bust your balls for dying your hair or acting like 5mil net worth is a lot of money. I think that is respectable for sure and glad you worked hard. But the guy buying the black series has about 7 mil just in cars as his play toys. He is 40 years old and worked had and built up a 3.5 bill dollar company.

Now the funniest part. He is buying is as his daily. YEP...he is going do daily commute in the black series. Why?...because he can. But as down to earth guy as you ever want to meet, and certainly not a 'wanna-be'

i don't dye my hair and i don't think $5M is a lot of money. i'm surrounded by Boomers down here with exotics. they are a dime a dozen. that's great that it gives them some pleasure. i see overcompensation tho and i'm not that impressed.

It overcompensation when you do it for an identify. It is living life, when you actually enjoy the cars. Stop confusing the two. You seem really focused on outward expressions of wealth. Seen you brag enough about it, and frankly it looks pretty pathetic to me.

I have money too, but my wealth is my family and friends. I dont give a fuk about money other than security. I enjoy certain things and will buy them. If i did not have them, I would be just as happy, but I can enjoy nice stuff in it's place. It is not the money behind my like of them. I just picked up a model X for my wife to drive. I am LOVING this car. LIKE taking it every chance I can because it is a fun experience to drive it. But I have a 2013 Kia sorrento I love too.

It is shame you cant separate the idea of the cost of things and their "value". That really speaks a lot about you.
