honestly all these 3 years i felt like im suffering. all the homeworks, finals and random BS frustrated me so much
also being poor af during this time wasnt nice

but now the time has come and im supposed to graduate in 2 months and im just sad about it.

-brb an end to what is considered one of the best times of your life
-brb no more real "frameowork". its all you and you can be lonely af
-brb no more access to beautiful prime girls. i wasnt a slayer as a student but knowing from now on i will see ALOT less girls is depressing
-brb needs to get a (real, not students) job. in my field (cs) it should be a tough few months untill ill get one
-brb needs to move alone to the "big city"

after all i guess 2 things really depress me: the FOMO of not being a student anymore, and the fear of being lonely af.


overall in a few months if all go good i supposed to have a job that pays really good, live in a big city with alot of options, finally have a car again, but overall all of that is material chit.

Meeting friends has been 10x harder for me post-graduation and meeting single women has been 50,000x harder. And I was an electrical engineer. Single women straight-up don't exist after college IME.

Having money is cool, having no STEM homework is sick as fuk, but I liked the college lifestyle much better.

I had to leave one country to go to university in another and leave that country to work in yet another.

I was lucky enough to enjoy my work, but socializing wasn't the easiest in a new country. I had to force myself out there, learn the ropes and talk to as many people as I could. Things are more spread out than it is on campus life, but the options are far greater - you just have to do more legwork. I got friends little by little, was let into social circles and formed my own. That leads you to women, you might find one you wanna stick around with long term like I did and life just keeps building from there. I think you'll only be as lonely as you let yourself be, there's gonna be thousands upon thousands of people in walking distance of you if you live in a big city, you lose nothing by talking to as many as you can and building the social life you want.

If you have things to work out like anxiety or whatever, best way is to just put yourself in situations that spark it often and try to get over it.

i wish i was done with skool. i have my business already running. dont even need to finish lol

I am almost in the same boat. I just graduated with a BS in computer science this spring, I have a job lined up for June 7th and I’m just not feeling like my usual self anymore. I was in college for 6.5 years, it was a huge chapter of my life that is now closed. Feels weird, feels scary entering adulthood, not sure how well I will perform on the job, like you I’m not sure if I’ll even like the job. Not sure how much time I will have for my hobbies. Can’t stay out fishing until 5am on a Wednesday anymore unless I use my vacation days not going on an actual vacation which I could really use right about now. That’s life gotta keep trucking. The good news is I’m getting a car, independence and an opportunity to save for my own home assuming this economy doesn’t become more of a **** show than it currently is. We can still do our hobbies albeit less. There is a lot of good that comes with college being over. I’m sick of living off of debt, sick of studying, sick of presentations, sick of school all day then doing homework all night. Can’t wait to work 9-5 get paid to do it then fuk right off at 5:01pm and go workout and fish and ski, life will be good we just have to adjust in due time.

College for me was so ****ing lame and waaaay too much work for what I could have learned much more easily. Once I started making money and learning what I wanted from life I felt much happier.
