there was another story from a couple of years ago whereby a HIRED off-duty police officer hid behind a school dumpster during a school shooting. Children died.
he quit in shame but retired to Florida on his 100K a year pension or whatever.
..............................
You have to remember most cops are unfit coping GED-having average Joes. Of course they take credit when they can grab it easily but also use their position to dominate citizens (esp muh black & browns).
Not all cops are bad but you have to remember again...many are dummies who really have an easy job if they play their cards right. thats why seeing hurt cops is relatively rare. most have protocols to call for backup, etc. before putting themselves in a risky situation.
Again you saw that here. 20 cops standing outside a door while children were getting their heads blown off. Guarantee these fuks were thinking about their retirements to Florida with their uggo wives not actually dying in the line of duty.

Mine has. They are overfunded lame ducks that are perfectly fine at making split second decisions to take someones life when its their life on the line, but cower when its kids. Complete incompetence on all levels. I would be fine with a systematic complete over haul of all hired personnel at this point. The fukking retards in FULL TACT GEAR, tazing and arresting parents wanting to go in and save their kids while ON DUTY LE did exactly that is the icing on the cake.

Not really. I don’t have much experience with law enforcement. I don’t really cause trouble and have been lucky enough not to really have any bad situations.
I always just looked at them as your last resort if something goes really, really wrong. Other than that they’re usually just writing chicken sht traffic tickets. I don’t think they’re pillars of the community, always looking to lend a helping hand, nor do I think the’re racist red necks looking to put a bullet in anyone that’s the shade of mocha or darker.
I would call the cops in an emergency and hope for the best, I’m not really sure what anyone else expects from the LEOs.

Cops are fine but they are getting a phuck load of money from taxes so they should be held to a higher standard yet just manage to be condescending pricks with bad sunglasses. I think it is mostly regional but around here the police union are complete motherphuckers that bleed the city for money and they legitimately do nothing. I'm not even kidding they are basically useless.
Even last year near my hometown there was a shooting a few blocks away from a hs football game and the cops at the game open fired in a crowd at some random car and ended up killing a nine-year old girl.
I get it is a difficult job but there are consequences when you mess up and the stakes are that high.

Just consider that number and how many times you have been led to believe by the media that police are looking out for you.
As I said above when you realize they are just physically unfit GEDers with great pension jobs it all makes sense.
makes me wonder how many of the local cops everywhere are saying to each other "we wouldnta done that right guyz??? right?" LOL.

The cops that sat outside shouldn't be cops and deserve the vitriol coming their way.
But the cops that went in and took the guy out should also be recognized for their bravery and not swept under the rug in this.

Not really.
Everyone is reacting to this event with pure emotion and zero logic.
Reminds me of the public reaction when ******** floyd happened.
Two cops got shot within 5 minutes of the shooter being in the school.... You would keep sending in more officers immediately? You need to plan something out in a situation like that.... Shields, armor, backup, being absolutely certain you wont hit more kids with crossfire, etc etc etc. I guess it shouldnt take an additional 30 minutes, but youre not exactly dealing with a safe and predictable environment.

According to a survivor:
https://www.kens5.com/article/news/s...a-48cdd47fa235
"The cop said: 'Yell if you need help!' And one of the persons in my class said 'help.' The guy overheard and he came in and shot her," the boy said.
At that point there has to be entry."The cop said: 'Yell if you need help!' And one of the persons in my class said 'help.' The guy overheard and he came in and shot her," the boy said.

Again just the face that 19 officers together all acted this way would indicate it is WAY MORE likely of happening than not. if it was 3 cops at the door you could throw your COPES into the ring....but 19 is a statistically very alarmingly high number...even if someone else did eventually come in and take action.

No not at all. Because I don’t live in some third world majority democrat voting hell hole like Uvaldi where diversity is their greatest strength.
Where I live I know cops would bust in and put their life on the line. Fukk, civilians would do it.
Just different value systems.

The diagrams people are posting seem like a guess, i want to see an actual map or 3d rendering, or why they couldnt figure out how to kill this guy. You have to be able to take cover if youre going in..... Maybe the way the shooter was positioned made that impossible, i have no idea, and frankly it seems like no one knows.

Every person with common sense says it was the wrong choice.
Every historical mass shooting says it was the wrong choice.
Their own training says one officer may have to take the heroic action instead of waiting.... these guys waited for a key. Some "barricade" that is.

Still support cops in general.
Do not support the cops who made the call here. They should face homicide charges.
My guess is that it falls on someone higher ranking who made the call. Doesn't matter if it's police, military, or corporate... the people higher up the ladder usually have no fkkin idea what is going on.
