Work Related Issue - Advice
So, tonight was a slow night at the hospital and a lot of the work in sterile was done since, well, no operations given its Memorial Day weekend.
My lead all night was basically in and out taking a bunch of smoke breaks and then him and the rest of my team, left early.
Lead tells me that I should stay until another person from night shift comes (so that there is 2 people there outside of me) before I can go home.
Needless to say, I left early anyways after realizing the person wasn't going to be there until 11 - so I ended up just leaving at 10:40PM.
Anyways, the Lead is the one that's supposed to make sure things are covered for next shift, no us.
So, do I confront my Lead about this and let him know he needs to be the one staying late, side-step him and go to manager or just leave early from now on regardless of what he says.
Thanks.
