I heard those things have a mind of their own and people have seen them literally walk into a crowd by themselves and start firing.

Universal Gun ownership is a must. America has the opportunity to lead the world in human rights.
There may be some pushback, so maybe we could offer a compromise.
People who refuse to take ownership must pay a yearly tax. (Kinda like the Obamacare model.)

I’ll get around to it eventually but it was low on the list of things I want from a firearm.
Pistols
Then shotgun/rifle
Then got into fun guns. Maybe should of got the Christensen arms ar pistol instead of the AK pistol platform I got. But was half the price and I wanted an AK platform.

Every sane and constitutional American should own a high-powered rifle. Which includes a 50 cal.

Fun fact, in the late days of the colonies and early states there were a bunch of laws making gun ownership (and proof you could use it mandatory.
It was these mandates that hugely helped to uphold the individual mandate in Obamacare.

I'm going to do my civic duty this weekend.
https://palmettostatearmory.com/psa-...165449186.html
This will be my first rifle build, so I would rather have something inexpensive to learn from. This way I can get familiar with it, but figure out what I'd be comfortable with or what I'd want to improve on for me personally. I also happen to like the looks of an M4 over a traditional AR-15 barrel anyway. I just want to build my first one to do shorter distance hunting and a gun range pig. Later when I get more knowledge and experience, I'll build a higher end rifle.
