have you ever seen a night sky like this irl? light pollution



When we used to go camping Id see many stars but never any concentrated star dust like in that pic above.

I wish I could experience something like this. Where in the world has a sky clear without any artifical lights?

i dont think that was ever viewable with the human eye. that's with cameras with altered/enchanced lenses

Google "designated dark sky zones." There are protected dark areas that you can see the night sky the best. The pic you posted is a long exposure picture, so you won't be able to see that much detail in real life

I think I have read somewhere that many years ago in an American state there was a statewise long blackout and the sky actually looked like this. People scared so much that authorities had to calm people by saying thats how the night sky actually looks like
