MGTOW is pretty based. The thing is, a philosophy like that will have incels that cling to it and use it as a cope - and then everyone wants to act like everyone who subscribes to that is simply an incel nerd who can't get laid - when plenty have had plenty of experience with women and decide (especially now) that "the juice isn't worth the squeeze" as they say.

Of course society - be it the bitter harpies (ironically mostly the ones who are "empowered" and "don't need no man") or insecure guys who base their life and self worth around getting laid (even if they seldom or never do) - love to react very negatively towards them.
