Canada is gigantic. It’s kinda mind blowing how big it truly is especially considering most of the population lives near the U.S. border like AfRyan said.

The country is so huge, there are some breathtaking natural wonders far north in Canada, but most of them are only accessible by air, if at all. There are some gems that if located in the United States would be national parks visited by millions of people each year.

For example, this waterfall is twice the height of Niagara Falls, but nobody ever visits because it is completely remote in an uninhibited part of Northwest Territories:

iceland is renown for these types of landscapes but Canada is arguably better. But like you said they are very remote in the country and hard to access. They should definitely build more tourist infrastructure up there. I know Yukon is making a push.

Good point. I know some irl brahs who have travelled to Iceland to enjoy the landscapes. Mirin’ their experience. Some amazing sights.

I do think Canada has a better variety and more impressive natural wonders to see, but too much is inaccessible. Was unaware of Yukon’s efforts. That’s encouraging. The territory already has decent road coverage because of the Alaska Highway, so they could definitely open up. Northwest Territories might have more impressive parks though and I think the only real highway is a boring one between Alberta and Yellowknife. They need to built out. Nunavut is a lost cause lol.

As mentioned, very few people live there.

I recall reading about some European scientist from like the 1700s who told people they should not move to North America because nothing much really grows there and it's a wasteland.

I thought that was stupid but then drove across the US twice and I live not too far from where Montana borders Canada, and it is a wasteland. I never crossed the border but on the map, there's nothing in Canada in that religion.

I don't believe that any of those lands could be developed.

Ain't chit up there though. It's like Siberia, part a certain point it's all Tundra.

Always lol when Canadian politicians say that increased temperatures would be bad. We'd have way more liveable and farmable land, be able to tax people driving cargo ships through the islands because the ice is gone, access to oil on the Arctic ocean floor, etc. Global warming ould be the best thing possible for the country, I wish it was real.
