People who use social media as their emotional outlet with politics...

Something is seriously wrong with them. Republican or Democrat.

I’m just not buying that they care as much about whatever issue they’re talking about as they’re letting on. I think it’s just an avenue for them to lash out and flaunt their sense of unearned moral superiority. Something else is going on with them. Particularly with the girls.

Anyone else think they’re full of sh!t and have some underlying mental health issues? I need answers.

It’s like they’ve been infected with some kind of brain pathogen they can’t control or keep to themselves. I know a bunch of girls that are either bipolar or have BPD and they all are crazy into politics. Def more liberal than conservatives but I see it on both sides. It’s like they wake up angry and just go looking for sh!t to get mad about and it’s never enough.

I use social media to share funny memes, pics of my dogs, and maybe some nice scenery of a place I visited here and there. That’s it. Not once have I felt the need to virtue signal my ideas about society to my peers. Is there something wrong with me or am I on to something?

Kony 2012 died for this.

It's always something.

Maybe on some level people think they care about these things. I think that people care about themselves and pretend to give a fuk about other people.

Honestly, I don’t lose any sleep over things that don’t effect my family, friends, close associates, etc. I might see something bad on the news and say “Oh that’s sad/tragic” and then I go right back to my life. I don’t think that makes me a sociopath. Or maybe I’m out of my mind? I don’t think so.

It's called supporting the current thing OP

But yeah it's all just trends and virtue signaling, these dickheads don't actually care about anything other than their own ego.

Solid list but you forgot:

-Masks work
-going outside will kill everybody
-the election wasn't stolen
-masks work (again)
-vaccines work even though everybody is getting "breakthrough infections"
-going outside will still kill everybody
-abortion rights
