Misc doctors, cut finger down to the bone, do I have to get stitches ?
Don’t feel like waiting 3 hours In urgent care if it’s gonna heal on it it’s own over time
Top half of finger was cut right down to the bone, no broken bone, lots of bleeding that I’m pretty sure I’ve got under control now

If it has stopped bleeding you don't need to, but if it's continuing to bleed, you need stitches. Make sure you properly clean it out.

Yes. I did this some years ago, sadly went through the nail bed too. I tried to super glue it shut for a couple hours, but just when I thought it was OK, it would spurt again. Had to get 10 stitches, including through the fukking nail...

Idk man, I cut my knuckle pretty deep a couple years ago, I didn't have it looked at because I was in the middle of nowhere doing something and by the time I was done and home the bleeding had stopped with pressure. The scar tissue made it hard to extend for a long time, but I haven't thought about it in a long time and right now it seems fine.
