What is one war that you really wouldnt want to fight in?
For me i think it would have to be world war 1.

None, but if I had to choose anything below the 90’s. Now there are kill chains, uavs, tons of air support and some badass weapons. And conditions are better for the troops now. Imagine starving during the revolution eating your shoes while people are almost guaranteed death from any wound shot or stabbed by bayonet. No thnx jeff.

The battlefields of France during WWI sound awful, from every account I've read. I'm talking about trench warfare. Brb standing in knee deep water for prolonged periods, eating almost nothing, seeing rats chewing on your dead buddies, disease rampant, being made to go on suicidal runs towards the better established German trenches (the bullets would get you if the barbed wire didn't), having to hide like those same rats when the bombardment started, crawling around underground digging tunnels towards enemy trenches with no safety nets. If the tunnel collapses and buries you alive, tough chit buddy.
Coming back home on leave and nobody has any idea what you are going through as the papers have been painting a pretty picture to keep the masses happy.
