Only found one or two mentions of it altogether and all of them stated that they basically got scammed out of their money and haven't received chit in return. Here's a mention of both Amazon Pro Hub and something called Ingramspark being both chit.

Not sure whether this is helpful, this is the actual Amazon site for self publishing.
https://kdp.amazon.com/en_US/
Possibly worth checking out the subreddit as well

we have 2 Misc'ers that published some stuff on Amazon without a problem? Actually, 'Cucked by a Tradie' was a surprisingly good read....

Sorry to hear if he got scammed - use the direct Amazon link provided above. I have been to one of the massive print shops that fulfills orders for Amazon and it's a really impressive process where they print the books on demand after they are ordered and they go from digital file to bound book, packed, and shipped in a matter of a few hours (I think it's within 24 hours).
My unsolicited advise it to help him. To someone that age having the ability to publish a book and make a sale is probably something they never thought could happen in their lifetime, but print on demand enables it without many barriers. If I were you I would probably enroll a half-dozen friends to buy copies and pay them back so he can have some sales (provided he doesn't generate them on his own).

58 positive "reviews" (bots) on trustpilot and the profile is deactivated, likely because they removed it for the botting/scams
Also pretty sketchy how they yoinked the amazon branding, not sure if Amazon allows that
1800 followers on ******** and no replies to their posts either, except a couple of people complaining about not getting what they paid for

According to this site which claims to be the authority on scam checking, that site has a 14.8 out of 100 trustworthy rating

I've considered writing/self-publishing. IDK...seems like the market is flooded with material.
OTOH I watched this recently and it seems that some people are paying ghost writers per word to write novels and then posting them up on Amazon for usually $1.
Video is about buying an existing business for cash instead of buying RE. IIRC two of the businesses that are spotlighted are of this type.

If you're self publishing, don't waste your money on paid services. Even if they're legitimate, they often cost more than the royalties you get from the sales they deliver. It's not even worth the "exposure" you think you're getting.
Stick to publishing directly with Amazon. If you want to branch out and don't want to list on each marketplace, use someone like Draft2Digital.

This week on The Buff and the Beautiful: Colleen comes up with a new scheme to win over Carlos. But first she has to gain the trust of her captor.
