Is anyone kind of over stranger things?

I’ve seen all the seasons it’s pretty decent 8.5/10, only on episode 3 of this new season and just kind of over the whole show lol. Will probably force myself to finish it eventually

Yea they can go ahead and cancel this one. I think they did a good job, but idk if I want to spend a 5th season in the stranger things universe tbh

Kinda liking the new season, I liked they brought in Jaqen H'ghar from GOT, interested to see how it plays out with Matthew Modine, always liked him as well..but yea, this should be the last season, kids are getting too old

shocked its still a thing. entire appeal was the childhood aspect of their experience.

that said, so many simps in the clown world might go for another 10 seasons.

I think the whole nostalgia for the time was keeping me interested during season 1, but it started fading pretty fast into 2 and then season 3 was pretty lame, so was on the fence about starting 4

I thought the 1st season was epic and tbe last few sucked.... But this season is more scary than the rest finally. Bringing back freddy crugger vibes.

The one down side is Nancy looking like glow down south. Something is off with her skin. Age

I've sitting here watching episode five of the new season and wanted to make this thread.

The show is VERY poorly done.

I watch it because there's nothing else on.

I loved the original Star Trek but the New Generation had what I call a "Lack of Urgency" and I hated it. There's a giant space dragon outside the ship and everyone is like "oh, that's interesting" and they go about their business. That type of bad acting and writing was seen in many of the first big CGI movies. The actors had no clue what was supposed to be happening around them so they looked dull.

In this show, a large number of people know about a weird alternate universe that is filled with horrible things, and they do not seem urgently concerned. Right now, kids are burying a person murdered in front of them and they are sitting around chatting.

It seems like the writers have no real story about the "upsidedown" and so they don't know how to tell the actors to act, the show is all filler about characters when if this was real all of the importance would be on the upsidedown. Since they have no story about the upsidedown none of the characters are actually that concerned about it.

Lost had the same sh!tty formula and bad writing.

What is creepy?

Most of the show is people sitting around talking about stuff having little to do with anything except their personal thoughts.

I just stopped watching in the beginning of the second season because watching a show starring a bunch of pre-pubecent teens feels lame. How can people be entertained by a bunch of children acting in a "horror" show? Late teen characters potrayed by actors in their early 20s just seems more appropriate.

The show is weirdly like a comedy at times, but they don't go far enough so it's not funny.

The creator of the show said that in 80s kids movies the parents were always oblivious to what was going on.

So, mom is in her own zone making dinner and the kids are in the backyard fighting an alien, and mom is like, you kids have fun!

The kids then win the battle and no one knows they saved the world, etc.

The writer of this show said that was going to be a thing and if you notice, it kind of is. But, that makes the show a comedy/parody of 80s movies, but it's really not as it tries to be a drama and science fiction show, but never really is either.

Saw the first season and never knew there was more until they started promoting, don't even remember the first and no desire to rewatch it to catch up. So yes, over it.

Feels like they're going for a Gremlins vibe. Funny moments but not even classed as a black comedy really.
But I agree, watching some ugly little kids running around fighting CGI got boring after season 1. Especially the fat kid with the hare lip

I thought the show overall was pretty good even though season 4 had a lot of filler and I was lost at times because I couldn't remember anything that happened in the previous season. The cinematography is nice and the budget is gigantic so they can get away with a lot of impressive visuals. Pair that with the palpable nostalgia of the 1980s and it makes for an entertaining watch overall despite the slowness at times.
*Look at reflection in car window and flex every time crew*
*Use half the roll to wipe after a poo crew*
*Fart in the gym and blame rotten smell on faulty ventilation crew*
*Fart at home and blame it on the dog crew*
*Watch neutron-star density poop mock me as water flushes around it and it stays put crew*
*Drive 2 minutes in the summer and back of shirt gets completely wet crew*
*Coffee black as midnight on a moonless night crew*
*Fat shame my cat on a daily basis crew*

Most of everything else released is trash so by comparison this show sits near the most watchable series out there. TV and movies have become so terrible in general.

I refuse to believe it's a product of getting older either. The quality has truly sunk across the board.

not sure why, but yeah. maybe i got sick and tired of every episode of the season coming out at the same time, or i hate streaming idk. i think i got to season three but didn't finish it. basically the main character guy and millie bobby brown grew out their hair and there's a love story i have no interest in
