It's a myth...

If we are asking whether these people in history had belly buttons, it's a nonsensical question because it's merely a story and not how humans arose on the planet.

Since they dont say in the story what the characters had, we dont know if the characters had a navel in the story. That would be at the discretion of the anonymous writers of Genesis, who apparently didnt bother to go into that detail.

OP you've chosen a strange hill to die on in the battle over the literal factual truth of the bible, but I admire your search for novelty (srs). My hypothetical counterargument would be that you've proven that one artist (or more, potentially) has rendered Adam and Eve with the offending belly button, but that doesn't nessesarily mean that the literal Adam and Eve had them therefore your evidence is invalidated as fruit of the poisonous tree... so to speak.

Real tea answer: The stories in the bible, especially the old testament, were never meant to be taken literally.

3 brain cell mouth breathers took these parables and actually believed them to be real.

Right or wrong, the bible is a great book, if only for the moral compass.

The TL;DR is that Adam and Eve never existed, and were meant to be representations of the coming of humans and what makes us "us", specifically the ideas of knowledge, self consciousness, and the recognition of good and evil.

what about wiping? did the tree of life make them have to poop? were they eating meat during those days? and if the tree of life was making them live forever, how long did they stay there? how could it be eden without toilet paper or plumbing for toilets? some things we may never know about that place. like the flaming sword, when did that go away? perhaps during the flood? if eve didn't give adam the forbidden fruit, would he have been sentenced to leave as well, or was it just going to be eve? who can say? who can honestly say?

Things were closer to perfection then. Adam and Eve and their children had more children to be multiple across the Middle East where the garden of Eden was located. They bred and no birth defects you’d get today from that. Human genes got worse over time
But Sex snd marriage between close relatives didn’t become a sin until I think the days of Moses. Book of Leviticus. By that time there were enough humans and tribes spread throughout the world.
