Blender vs slow juicer

Hi misc

What is the difference in consistency between a blender and a SLOW juicer? I have a blender but am looking into a slow juicer because it is apparently the healthiest of the juicers and the consistency of the final product is more like a liquid rather than a somewhat thick smoothie like a blender, although I do like the blender because you eat the whole thing including the fiber.

So apparently a slow juicer is a little bit thicker than other types of juicers, but it is healthier than the rest. But how does the consistency compare to a blender?

And any recommendations on the cheapest/best value slow juicer?

Only planning on juicing celery really

Well, with a blender you're still drinking all the fiber

With a traditional juicer, the spinning blades heat up the juices from the food denatured some of the nutrients. The best method is called "cold press" or pneumatic press juicing. It's expensive but gar better than any other method.

"Cold juicer" is the same as "cold press" right? The idea being that it doesn't spin really fast and heat up and oxidize things. I thought cold press/cold juicer/slow juicer/masticating juicer were all the same thing

"Slowly suck the fruit in the mouth can consider 'slow juicer' .. grin

i bought mine Omega last year. My main objective of buying the slow juicer is to juice leafy vegetable. During the initial 6-9 months, we were using this to juice spinach, celery, carrots, green apple. Now, too lazy .....because preparation [cut into small pieces] of the vegetable/fruits and subsequent washing of the juicer require a lot of efforts. Moreover, we have put together a buyer's guide for you to help you make an informed decision while buying the best juicer guide: https ://improveeats.com/best-juicers-for-celery/
