I used to love him but I think all the Covid fear got to him. I bet there’s a lot of politics in it and him thinking he’s on the right side of history.

Same.

Something happened to him. Now he’s just grating.

Had no idea he even came out with a special. What was cringe about it?

Ever since he married his black wife, I feel he has changed and became more soft as if she got into his head

He would openly talk on stage about him working on his anger problems and being calmer for his family. But that was what made him so good, he harnessed his anger into his jokes and stage work. These days he’s just a shill for the government.

this.

he went 180 from his early stuff. interracial relationships must be just so heavy though.

Ricky Gervais was good in his latest.

Burr gave up his edge to please his wife.

Yeah happens to a lot of artists, like Eminem. They just can't find a middle ground.

Yeah I have no problem with interracial relationships, but a lot of black women have a victim complex and she probably filled Bill's head with her bullshit

It’s not interracial black relationships. It’s specifically his wife Nia.

Be it a lesson when you settle for the wrong one.

Never could stand him. His delivery is awful. His whole routine is just being angry, yelling, and swearing. Dave chapelle, Jim gaffigan, and zoltan kaszas are GOAT.

Most of his LGBTQ gags were ripped off from Dave Chappelle including some he told in “the closer”

Painful silence in his opening routine about Rittenhouse. I didn't really enjoy the special, as people mentioned he's gone soft.

He ran out of **** to say due to the podcast and streaming eras. Nowadays comedians are online talking all day. Everything funny they have to say gets wasted or used up. It's better when you rarely hear from them and then they drop a great special. Just being able to listen to him rant everyday I just don't think he has much left to really offer. I like his stuff most of the time and I enjoy podcasts, but I do think there is a small element of overexposure to these guys and the constant drive to try to be funny on their casts just make it seem like they sorta tap out the humor pool. Like damn, you really ranting each and everyday about this ****? I do like Bill Burr, but it's hard to keep the same level of success over time and he might simply be trying to hard to be something he no longer is.

When u been in the game as long as he have. u cant be good forever, it's like bands, their first couple albums are badass. then it all starts to suck. maybe a decent album late in their career, but for the most part it's all downhill. its inevitable

Yea I thought that show was great, I kinda became a bill burr fan because of it. I guess my expectation for the special were high because of it.

Some of Bill's previous rants that were funny seemed to be more genuine, this last special seemed like he was trying to funny. I guess imo comedians are funnier when it comes naturally.

Some of his views are straight up ignorant, but he at least acknowledges that fact.... He had the most NPC take on rittenhouse you could imagine.
