Anyone else wish they were born in 1987 and dead in 2010?

Just seems like the epitome of a lifetime. Dead just before things got unserious/clowny (2013ish). So sad I missed out on so many cool things.

E.g,
2000s clubs
2000s people
90s/2000s childhood
2000s connectivity with the world, ie, crap Internet and flip phones
90s/2000s music
Guido culture
Spiky gelled hair culture
Wear random clothes and not look camp culture
Girls were ditsy fun girls and not men culture
Lifting was cool
Tribal tattoos
Everyone was normal and had normal quirks about them, not manufactured from online
Idol/celebrity gossip was pretty awesome
Novelty of cds/dvds, not this online subscription garbage
Hobbies/sports were fresh on the scene and still had the spice, unlike now
People were tossed in the trash if u sucked, so u had to deal with it, now you're pampered/told your mental health is at risk.
Family fun like Christmas/holidays were happy/warming, now it's just phone phone phone.
People talked
Fat people had to move
People just looked hotter before. Like, genetically. They just looked more mature before.
Lived along the dbz era.

Etc
Etc
Etc

Man, I think about this kind of thing every day without fail, upsets me quite a bit. So many good people out there I never met.

I dunno, early 20s is your prime age. That era just seemed amazing. Now stuff is weird.

Did u prefer 1980s to 2010 or 2017-2022?

1986 crew. Went into cardiac arrest in 2019 but somehow came to. I should have died there, everything has been garbage ever since.

Would be better to be born in 1942 and dead in 2010.

Born around that time.
Best part was phones were very rare
Like 50% of people had them in high school to start
In middle school I do not think anyone had them
Camera phones I do not even remember around that time

Just the fact that everyone did not carry around a camera was better

Basically those exact things. Not to mention the illnesses/disorders that came with phones. My cousin is like 12 and she is addicted to her phone, just a terrible upbringing. I just ignore, not on the same caliber as me, so go and play social media elsewhere lol.

Yeah people take photos too much. The novelty of printing the reels onto cards is gone. To me that is amazing, should never have stopped that. Don't think people make photo albums anymore, so sad, just stare into retard pixels lost on some cloud service.

If the usernames went blank I would've thought I wrote that. Guys then were pumped like they were on raw adrenaline or something.

Check out this video. I have watched this every other day for a over a year. The style, hair and their douchebag talk is how a guy should be. Oh and the shades, just the coolest thing ever. Much better than the garbage styles now.

2008 when there wasn't much influence for style, you just had to choose your own direction.

Man that video is epic, just guys clowning. Wish I could hang out with guys like that, hit the gym and actually have some normal conversations, not about Videogames/Social media crap.

It's not that I can't talk to people, I just don't want to because now they're boring and embarrassing, they literally don't know anything. Like I'm into Jackass/Spiked Hair clean shaven/Mma/roid behaviour and ur into makeup/social media/camp dresscode/neckbeard?Just go away. Nobody is crazy/not obsessed with phones. Pre 2011, I would've been talking/hanging out all over the place.

“Steroids is now just a word that the lazy and ignorant use to describe any guy that has more muscle and dedication than them”– Mike O'Hearn

"I am like getting the feeling of cumming in the gym; I'm getting the feeling of cumming at home; I'm getting the feeling of cumming backstage; when I pump up, when I pose out in front of 5000 people I get the same feeling, so I am cumming day and night. It's terrific, right? So you know, I am in heaven."

People were like that everywhere too idk what happened. Now you might see it occasionally from the most alpha dudes but this was just the standard behavior for like 80% of dudes pre 2012. I swear 2014 was the last year of this but man i remember the 2000's early 2010's everything was crazy like this. You're 100% right that dudes just had so much more energy and were more amped up on adrenaline back then but the funny thing is they didn't even need any caffeine or drugs to be like that it was just natural. Now if you were to say stuff like that people would get offended. You can't even have a show like Jersey Shore or any of that stuff on TV anymore because it offends people.

Nah, not even 1 guy is like that now. The thing is back then, they were like that on and off camera. Just look at that video for example. Do u think they cared about that video? No, just filmed it for clowns sake. That's the major separation, having that insane attitude off camera, just a 24/7 persona. It's natural, not playing up for the camera. There were different breeds of guys back then that are now extinct I swear. Not to mention how hardcore they were, now even the aggressive guys look pretty poofy.

Aside from those extreme examples, you never see masculine guys, eg guys with briefcases anymore or cufflinks. Nobody knows anything I swear.

Yeah, older videos just showcased people being more switched on and more energized. Just as if they're really amped up and it looked natural. Doesn't look scripted like now. Now people do things because the internet told them.

The thing is, even if Jersey Shore or whatever released now with offensive lingo, it would still suck. I never watched the 2009 version (just short clips and it was awesome), but the new one just looked so poofy/camp. The footage and the people just looked terrible. A part of it is definitely the cameras quality, just looks too poofy since it is so clear. Did u notice that? It's like that for all shows/pictures since 2015. (Surprisingly not even 2014, there's a clear cut line for some reason)

Wrong era.

Eod just look at this video. The first 25 seconds just showcase culture. Watch everyday, several times a day. Someone edited these clips together ofcourse, most badass/sickest thing on YouTube. All the videos I say I watch have been seen for years. Like this video, I swear I saw it in 2012 but its uploaded in 2015, must be a reupload.

They would never release anything like this now.

Just that cocky attitude of thinking you're the **** has completely gone aswell. Nobody is rightfully unfathomablely cocky/cool now.

Just look at the cocky blonde guy (Ryan Mccarthy), those movements of being arrogant (not mma, inbetween actions) is exactly how I behaved before. Just being insane for the sake of it.

Yeah dudes used to fake fight and wrestle all the time you never see it anymore. Sometimes we'd just get bored and start punching each other in the arm to see who was tougher. I can't remember the last time i saw this stuff. It's hard to describe but there was just a toughness back then that doesn't exist anymore. And yes i remember the overly cocky douchebags and i don't see that either. I used to kind of be one myself around 2011-2014. Like i would say just about anything and had so much confidence and nobody really gave a fuk. People gave me chit too.

2015 that chit changed though. It was at the time everyone got addicted to smart phones in early 2015 or so. But like the first half of 2014 was still crazy/awesome.

Born in 1987. What do you want to know?
"One day I won't be able to lift any more. Not I won't want to lift. I mean physically unable. That day could be decades from now or it could be tomorrow. All I know is that's the day I'll wish I could lift more than ever. The day I'd give anything for one more workout, one more set, or one more cardio session. So go hard and enjoy every workout, every set, every rep. Because one day you will wake up and you will never get it back."

2015 that chit changed though. It was at the time everyone got addicted to smart phones in early 2015 or so. But like the first half of 2014 was still crazy/awesome.
In school there was like 100 games for fighting. Punchies, mercy, knee caps, slapsies, etc etc. The most brutal one was knuckles, where you essentially use your fingers as posts and shoot a coin through, if you lose you get a coin shot at your knuckles, ouch lol. Haven't seen it in ages, my brother used to armwrestle guys just for the sake of it. It was like a mental thing to see who's better, but in a fun way.
It's like guys don't want to be men. No rough behaviour, unusual considering guys have been like this for ages.

I really don't know what will happen in the coming years, it's even more strange that only us think this, others put it on for show. Haven't seen a guy handle a woman with proper slang lingo. Getting it in, then out. Usually it's just clowns texting awkwardly now, LOL.

I am very serious about this ****. Basically everything I do is pre 2011 in a typical day. Have I got ocd? No, it's just 2nd nature. Clothes, hair, stuff I do, way I talk etc. Stuff after 2013 is just not the way to live, embarrassing.
Check out my history I posted on some other thread.

This was in April. Oh and look at 0:50, that never back down video I posted is there lol. Same at 0:33, that hair guido spiky hair video is there. Proves I'm not lying.

Lifting, jackass, spiky hair, Yo Elliott, Clubland, dbz, etc.

What about u? Is ur life like 2011 or is this something u just talk about online? For me I hate 2015+ so much, it's not even funny anymore. Even if something changes, just the fact that this is now part of history makes it too much for me.

Unfortunately, every empire has a shelf life. The US was defeated on 9/11 and was never the same again. Fuk 2012 and that bs theory....9/11/01 was the date.
