pool filter lost power

opened up the electrical box and it was FULL of those tiny ants and their eggs.
Don't see how they could of tripped the ground fault but it was tripped.
evicted them with extreme prejudice with some mint oil based insecticide so now I'm ant free and minty fresh and my pool is filtering again.

but fuk i keep feeling them crawling all over me when they are not there.
what do?

Crazy ants? They probably ate through wiring and shorted something.
