Anyone tried Bowflex adjustable dumbbells for home workout, worth the convenience?

my biggest pet peeve with screw in dumbbells is it takes forever in between sets and regular hex dumbbells are too much to store at home.

its almost $400. is it worth it?

Powerblocks for adjustables. Friend had a pair of bowflex ones that broke after a few months and even when they weren't broke the balance just felt off. Powerblocks kept me sane while everything was shut down in 2020

Got myself 2 of those „Northdeer“ ones:

https://www.amazon.de/dp/B091YHP63L?...JX431F4TNFZ74D

Got the 25 KG (55 lbs) ones.

Could be set to 12 KG (27 lbs), 17 KG (38 lbs), 20 KG (44 lbs) and of course 25 KG.

Would buy them again, I’m very satisfied.

I've heard this happening with the bowflex ones quite a bit.

Powerblocks are much better than the Bowflex one. Ironmasters are also great, but aren't quick adjust.

52.5, and they're perfect. They larger size is too bulky.

Have had them for years and used them a ton until I rejoined a gym recently. Dumbbells and a bench just aren't enough for a home gym.

theyre garbage

anything made by bowflex is low quality trash where all the money that should have gone into r&d or materials went to marketing

this style is a million times superior, you can load like 100 lb's on them easy and if you drop them they dont break

Great MAGA King status

Powerblocks are the only ones worth getting. And I would never want plate loaded dumbbells. Powerblocks are better in just about every way and you can do all the same stuff basically.

Need 100lbs
No point of investing that kind of money in something with 50
100+ you load up on shoulder press/dumbell press
