Was sitting on the ground next to a friend, watching a weird glow somewhere above the horizon, wondering to each other what it is.

Then the sky turns a blinding bluish shade and I realize that a hazy shockwave is quickly coming for us from that direction.

I immediately know that we are hopelessly fooked. It's coming insanely fast, like from some global event. No time to question it or hope.

I understand that it will be fast and pretty much accept my fate immediately.

I let the initial wind knock me back on the ground and I close my eyes, feeling the force and heat intensify over me.

Anxiety of death is at its peak as I'm waiting out these few last seconds of my existence, wondering what death will feel like and what's about to come, thinking I'm moments from finding out for sure if there is an afterlife, feeling some worry there on top of this overwhelming flow of intense emotions. I feel my body heat up and go weak as my mind starts to fade and I wake up.
