Friends fiancee' is having bachelorette in Florida

He lives in Michigan. Went to their wedding shower last sunday and she was just so excited about this trip, cackling with her bridesmaids while they're husbands sat by with a thousand cawk stare. So I asked what we're doing, and he replies "Dude I just wanna shoot guns, and have some beers...I don't want to really do much", while simultaneously giving her this look...



I've known this dude for over a decade and told him this was no bueno. He said he trusts her, and that the 4 day trip will be good for them.

LMAO at the whole concept of a bacherollet/bachelor party. So we have been dating for several years, then we agree to get married, but the week before you want to seperate, leave the area and party for several days?

Its like its a ritual created as a grand trust experiment and or a hall pass where only one party sees it that way.

Not to mention they will be surrounded by most likely single friends who are coming to the realization that he/she will no longer have as much attention for them. Their jeolus instincts will act subconciouslly.

Destination Bachelor and bachelorette parties are common/the norm. If you’re a guy that doesn’t mean strippers and blow, chill weekend of shooting guns or white water rafting camping etc whatever is fine. Yes cheating happens on both bachelor and bachelorette parties, but again with no other red flags given sounds like a massive overreaction on your part


That said when you say Florida does that mean Epcot or does that mean clubs in Miami Beach? Very different.

It used to be a “let’s go out and get drunk the night before the wedding to celebrate, have send off” and somehow has evolved into now 4 day affairs.


The positive is it gives you a chance to spend time with friends that you don’t typically see as you get older and do cool chit

Negatives are that it can cost more and more. Literally just paid almost 2k for a bachelor party weekend somewhere, annoying when it’s that expensive for a vacation you don’t get to plan



But lol at the losers in this thread. You all never been to bachelor parties? I’ve been to like 18 of them. All were weekend destination events. Some more rowdy than others, but none involved cheating (unless you count lap dances as that).

Chicks do the same chit. Just depends on the type of girl you’re dating. How she spends her bachelorette party is good indicator of sloot levels. She wants Vegas, New Orleans, or Miami? And has red flags like tattoos , does drugs, exotic piercings? Then yea she will get dinked down.


She wants to spend a weekend in Arizona, South Carolina, Asheville, etc? Then who gives a chit stop being so insecure

My wife and I didn't do the bachelor/bachelorette thing. We both think that tradition is fuking stupid. My buddies rented a cottage and we spent the weekend there just a dozen guys, listening to heavy metal, shotgunning beers, and having a great time. My wife's female family members and friends threw her a fuking tea party at a family member's place who has a large property.

It really comes down to this. The Sloot friends get jealous of the bride and gaslight her all weekend to “let loose and have fun.” Sloots can’t stand “good girls” because they are insecure and want to destroy them. Women, even ones that have morals are weak as fuk and can easily get pressured into or manipulated into doing something they regret.

I’ve had about 5 or 6 close friends get married and they are all still married and happy. NONE of the brides even wanted to do a bachelorette party and ended up doing a quiet spa day or weekend nearby with their moms and just close friends.

We did a bachelor party trips, none of the grooms wanted anything to do with cheating or even strip clubs. We did strip clubs out of tradition, but nothing past a lap dance was happening with the groom.

I know. I told him to slow the fuk down, and breathe, but he's full steam ahead. He was dating this Asian girl before that wanted to marry his ass. Super cute,comes from a good family,family actually owns one of the most exclusive Asian restaurants in the area. He dropped her because he felt that she liked him more than she liked him. No pressure or anything, just genuinely liked him a lot. Not only that she comes from a much lower economic bracket than he is. She def caught her a simp and married up.

This, the whole thing is silly. I played poker with my closest friends, she did an afternoon cruise with some friends and family. But our whole wedding we went pretty cheap. Lmao at a 60k wedding.
