Should I add preferred pronouns on LinkedIn to get more visibility from big tech?

Every tech company is woke and practices diversity and inclusion. If I put he/him pronouns on LinkedIn, will it give me more visibility to these high paying tech companies?

If leaving that blank excludes us from jobs, then free speech and truth have lost, and the lgbt have achieved dictatorship.

Can't be he/him though, that lands you right to the bottom of the list unless you have an Ethiopian name

Serious answer, consider your function first and the most likely sex of your hiring manager. If you're gunning for a customer-facing or peopling role (HR, sales, CS, etc.) then it's not a terrible idea, but take the lead of whatever most in that department are doing. If you're in something like finance with a female hiring manager I would not do this. Those are typically the types to use their brains and realize the lack of self awareness around an obvious man saying his pronouns, which would only ever be detrimental to a woman in that function. For example, I'm preparing for some APAC work in the next few months and my VP and I discussed what a terrible idea it is to give a heads up to a group of men in a cultural not exactly known for respecting women that they will, in fact, be meeting and taking direction from a woman. Smart women talk chit about the men who do this constantly, it's revolting.
Train hard, train smart, have fun!
